Three brothers and a sister, the youngest. I remember mum popping her out in the front bedroom at around 8 o'clock. She was asking for a bar of whole nut and a bottle of brown by 9. Dad hadn't bothered to make an appearance by then, so I had to go to the offy.

My second wife's mum had seventeen! Two were stillborn and one died at two years of age. So only 14 survived. You didn't mess around with that family.

My Grandmother on my mothers side had 14 children between the ages of 16 and 48. Never smiled. Never looked happy. :-\

Crazy thing is that they couldn't afford one child let alone 14. My mother called it self-inflicted poverty.

Mrs. KW took her car for an MOT today. As she drove up the road I remembered the advisories for rear brake pads ad deteriorated drop link dust covers that it got last year, which had slipped my mind.  ::)

Passed, with advisories on the drop links.  :D

Clearly she's not very heavy on the brakes.

Kit car road tax is due at the end of the month. Thought hard what to do. Came to the conclusion that it doesn't make sense not to SORN it for now. Just when the weather is starting to get better too. :(

Walked past them both in the garage to get to my petrol can for the lawn mower, neither of them has turned a wheel in the last 10 days, and not likely to for some while.( Both on battery conditoners)

If they are the crap Ctek ones, get a meter out occasionally to check.  Of the 6 Cteks I've had (3 for smaller bike batts, 3 for cars), none have been any good.

And in a couple more months when this starts to blow over, car batteries are going to be in very short supply.

These are ones made in the USA boxes long gone & no brand make on them but never had a single problem with them, my cousin has a Chevrolet dealership in Los Angeles he has used this type for years he had them shipped over to me, he wouldn't buy crap type believe me.
