Peanut oil is great for the trims,, using linseed oil isn't good if you go abroad or in areas where the security dogs are used, this stuff will get their attention and you may have a car search...
Mate of mine did on a raf base.

I had similar on a vectra I bought many moons ago, listed with "abs and tc lights keep coming on" bought it for peanuts.  :)
When I got home I changed the front tyres for correct size so they match the rears. Usual 65profile on the rear but 55 profile on the front. Never had the lights ever come back on. ;D

I was pleasantly surprised with my renewal, I thought it'd go up so had been on the compare sites prior to receiving the renewal.
It's just landed at my door and not only beats the online prices it beats their own quote on there and is alot cheaper than last year  sub 300 quid again. . :y

Yeah it was dark and no decent light to see much at the time.
Think i was very tired last night and not thinking straight;as soon as i woke up this morning i'd realised which one it was,,, almost as thought a light had switched on in my head.  ;D

Quick question guys.
What type bulbs are the dipped beam on the pfl cd please? Had one go tonight and its too dark to see also the haynes manual is as much use as a chocolate fireguard...
Are they H4's or H7's please? Could it be either?
I did try looking here too but alas i couldnt find the info.

Mine were fogged /misted over, searched for newer ones and couldn't find any that were better so I just done the refurb trick and they're alot better.
It's takes time and attention to detail bit well worth it.  :y
