As per title. front solenoid 90 493 702 required.
Will repair the one I have but would prefer to buy one, replace the microswitches and fit that so I can do the whole procedure in one go.
Thankyou :)

It'll take a man of your capability less than 30 mins to change the switches in the middle of the replacement job ;)
Not sure I have any in the garage, I'd need to check...

I need to do the same on my n/s/f door. Would appreciate info on which switch I need to buy.
Sorry for the thread hijack.

MigV6 - Part numbers and suppliers are in Kevin's guide :y Only the drivers door has the two switches.
TheBoy - The last one I was going to repair ended up doing an impression of a F35 going supersonic before it hit the wall.... I was struggling getting the black outer cover off and had a strop!

Thanks for the info. I will go and have a gander.

Just ordered 4 switches. £11 delivered. Should be able to get them installed into the motor at work weds or Thurs.
Sorry again for thread hijack.

Just ordered four switches as well, need to see if I have a solenoid in one of my sheds (most likely at my Dads house!)

A mini soldering iron will make it much easier. :-[ :y

Where from? And were they the ZF Electronics DB2-C1AA mentioned in the guide?
My nearside front doesn't work at all. And the offside rear is intermittent.
Thanks,

Ordered from RS components using the part number from Kevin Woods guide = page 4 of Maintenance guides section.
-
Ordered from Farnell as I had some other bits to get as well that RS didn't do.
Ones shipped are Cherry DB2 :)

Mine arrived 5 minutes before I left for work this evening, so I was able to get the switch fitted at work tonight. Just got to put it all back together now.
