frontera 3.2
« on: 07 January 2009, 18:52:39 »

Hi  I'm contemplating buying a Frontera 3.2 late ish model 2003.  (not going to get rid of the meega cos I still want a motorway cruise)  No great reason for doing so other than a bit of variety and I've never had a 4x4 before and you get load of metal for the money

Is there anything I should look out for?  I would guess manuals are better than auto (on the ground that I've never realy understood how you drive an auto offroad)

Any thoughts: am I mad?

Mate had an old 8v Frontera, he abused it daily & it kept going.  Wasn't the most powerful but it shifted.

I'd advise a Manual version tbh, especially if your going to be doing off-road.

Always felt the Frontera was the unwanted lovechild of the Vauxhall range, from what I remember when my dad was looking at buying one they had a bad rep for reliability, dunno if it's deserved or not though :y
