I used to run/oval race Mins many years ago. Still good a soft spot for them. Enjoy the meet & keep your eye open on here for others.

Yes Guy, you have paid your deposit which you sent to me, as you said you were going Friday then leaving Sunday.
Anyone who wanted to say longer had to book directly with the site so there was no mix up like last year.
Some people were phoning the site to book up instead of through me for the weekend, which got very confusing when I arrived at the site to find the owners Mum in a right state, then telling me who had paid!!!! I only know a few by their proper names

That is why it is being done like this

We have 8 families with children coming this year so could do with those Families being in the Family Field, which for those who have been before is where Jaime's Tent is and the Gazebo, where everyone gets together, but on the opposite side against the hedge. At night when the children have gone to bed the parents can still enjoy the night mixing with everyone being able to see the tent, plus only will be 40 feet or so away.
I am sure everyone not taking children will understand this.
I will try to be there around 1pm on the Friday to try and help the Lovely Old Lady so she doesn't get to stressed

thats nothing to worry about !its when you get two miles down the road and realise you have forgot wife ! do you carry on or do you go back and pick her up?then you think who is going to do the cooking?on my way back to pick her up!

Cheers Dazzle! Just checking. Might not make it every year as given the drive it's a busmans holiday for me but other members have made the effort to travel to various meets & Newent is well established so i've got to come & play!!! 8-)
