The tractor is going shortly but do I break it or sell it.
Ive spent a fortune on new expensive parts(fuel pump,alternator,num 4 injector).
Its now developed a oil leak from god knows where and with 184k on the clock which would get the most :-/

Well its started snowing again at 6 this morning by 8 we had 4 inches and worst of all the dam schools are off >:(

Back in the 80's when real traction (class 25,26,27,37,47,etc) was pulling mrk1-3's coaches they were unstopable now with new modern traction a wee bit snow and the units chuck it.
Lets see some old traction digging the country out and earning some dosh for the preservations.
I can mind watching a 101 dmu arriving at stirling from dunblane caked in snow and going to glasgow with no problem.

well theres 6 inches of here in white Falkirk and the mig hasn't let me down.
Not span out (yet) I treated it to a set of x4 snow socks and x8 20L barrels of water for ballast.
I live at the top of a steep hill (in a house for the smart arses) and there's more snow forcast tonight. its great fun watching all the neighbours parking at the bottom and having to walk up the hill :P ;D

I took wife x2 brats to see the lights and had a lovely jolly down,sat at 60mph(ish) and tractor returned a lovely 53.7mpg and the weather was lovely on sunday but on monday it was blowing a gale with the rain going sideways.
I was parked in the bonny street car park on monday and spotted a fellow oofers car ending in TVT.
On the way home again at 60ish bloody wind made a big difference only made 45.3mpg and all the a-holes still belting along at 80+
