I found one on ebay complete with a years subscrition it was about £10-15 but that was a while back now not sure how much the subscrition is when its up for renewal , I think if you go to VX they can renew it and I have also heard Halfords can do it too but not needed to try yet. I use mine and find it useful. It works by sensors on bridges and by the side of the road detecing traffic flow movement this is sent back to the control centre which broadcasts the information quiet clever really . I think some of the higher spec sat nav have this type of info too. I have a MEDION  sat nav with a type of thing  but the traffic master is more accurate . But then I like toys I might not know much about them but  I like them  ;D

To activate it, ring the number it says when you press the button, or online at trafficmaster website.  Volume - hit button twice (I think) and it counts up and down numbers, press button again when volume right

You were right TB to adjust the volume its three presses of the traffic master button which puts the system in to volume mode she then counts up or down 1-8 and you just press the button when its at the volume you require  ;D Thanks for that

i have it in my miggy, think its brilliant.....

Cost me about £25 for a year, i do a lot of motorway mileage and find that 95% i get enough warning to set the sat nav up to avoid the issue.
