First the MAX, now this. Seems like Boeing is having more trouble keeping 'em up than half the members on here.  ;D
You forgot the 747 dumping its engine parts in the roofs of Dutch cars just before this last one.  But mostly ignored by mainstream media, as a video of a burning engine is better TV

...........and in this case, Rolls Royce if these planes are equipped with them? - DG ? ??? ???

Ah, forget that!!  Just found out that these airliners are powered by Pratt & Whitney engines....American crap, so what do they expect!! ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;)

Depends on who orders the Aeroplane.  They can be General Electric, Rolls-Royce or P&W.

Depends on who orders the Aeroplane.  They can be General Electric, Rolls-Royce or P&W.
Only three ordered it with the PW blenders... United, JAL and Korean.

BA ones run the GE90 with only two real issues... A fuel leak at the start of a take off roll at Las Vegas, and a fuel icing issue at Heathrow.

In fact, apart from two Malaysian hull losses in one year, it has a pretty decent safety record.
