Hi proz, no idea so would that cause the problems i have ....the further i drive the hotter it gets and the fans wont cool the car down .
Im not a mechanic by any stretch of the imagination but its the only thing left to check really .
Im sure i saw a thread before where the fins on the pump had broken off which obviously causes lower or a loss of waterflow altogether thus overheating .
As said im scared when changing spark plugs so no expert
....but its just a shot in the dark maybe

Hello
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good dash camera .
Preferably something smallish as at times i have my gps unit on the windscreen aswell.
Seen a few on the Eay of E and willing to spend maybe £70ish.

Theres a tutorial on changing the heating pads/mats .
I would personally make sure the elecrical side of the seat heating is working first as the heating pad/mat removal and changing looks a pain

I had this happen to me and was convinced the car was burning or about to burst into flames ... turned out i had a carrier bag wrapped around the cat/exhaust .
It reeked for weeks untill all that plastic had melted away .
Have a look underneath incase youve picked up a carrier bag .
Its a long shot but worth a look

The " Car and Spanner" light is for engine or gearbox electronics problems or if it flashes when starting the car i believe the immobiliser .
The orange "Engine Light" is for the emmissions.
What are you using to read the codes ?
Can it show any live data ?

It really needs put on a tech 2 or similar to have the live data readings for 02 sensors and Airflow meter looking at.
Mine turned out to be a faulty airflow meter but please dont start replacing parts willy nilly until properly diagnosed .
Could be a lot of things such as an air leak or faulty airflow meter or 02 sensors.
Is that the only code showing ?
