A drum of many screenwash cheap at ECP
« on: 05 March 2022, 11:19:02 »

Neither the company nor the screenwash are world class however they currently have 25 litre drums of their -15 screen wash concentrate for £20.

In case anyone is interested :y

If nothing else I can sell it to the local yoot as a new cider...

Cant finf a 25 litre drum

but read this

TRIPLE QX Concentrated Screenwash 25Ltrs

Our Triple QX Concentrated All Season Screenwash cleans all types of dirt, grim, tar and sap from your windows, leaving a spotless, and streak clear finish. The concentrated formula allows you to get up to 25 litres from a single bottle

Sorry - misread the item.

It is 25l but they way the wording is I assumed it was 25l watered down.

If its the Triple QX shite, I bought a load of 5l ones 3 or 4 years back, and binned most of them.

Firstly, despite using it neat, it not only frozen, but damaged a headlight washer in the process (£50).

Secondly, it was quite smeary.  Cut from grime? My arse, did it.

Neat water would be better.

As a yoot, I used to steal my Grandad's home made wine, but to be honest I'm sure it would have made excellent screen wash!  ::)  ;D

We used to make moonshine that blew our brains out.

Trips to the hospital were not unknown. :-\ :)

Back in the day (late 80's) while in sausage land, vodka from the Mally Shop was cheaper then the screen wash  :D

Never had it freeze yet, and definitely not in the footwell.

How could it leak if it was frozen?  ;D

It did leak on to the BCM behind the passenger side kick panel, but I thought this thread was about screen wash, not Vauxhalls crap design  :P

Freeze > expand > bugger the pipe> thaw out > leak everywhere >get repaired > repeat  ;)

Nah. Apparently the pipe was prone to having an aneurism  ;D
Plus, the temperature in the A pillar was probably about minus 40°C when on the move.
