Reluctor ring is on drive shaft just after the outer CV joint[on the phase 1 cars anyway]so just inboard or the steering knuckle/hub,you can see it by simply jacking the car up but easier if you remove the wheel.

If you need a slightly clearer view of the ring remove the centre bolt from the end of the drive shaft[use a glamorous assistant of choice to stand on the brake pedal while you undo/remove this]then push/tap the drive shaft inwards-it won't fall out of the hub-and rotate the hub while looking at the ring.Then unless replacing the ring simply pull the drive shaft back fully into the hub and replace the bolt[technically you should use a new bolt]replace wheel and you're good to go.
