When did VX stop using the BMW 2.5td engine? Have I asked this before? If so kick me. Ta.

On Vauxhalls, 2001. Repelaced with a GM 2.2 4 cylinder lump.

On Opels, 2003 when production ceased.  Post 2001 Opels got the rather nice Y25DT BMW common rail engine, complete with 5 speed auto/

they did indeed and also available with manual trans, been looking on german ebay and they are a nice motor!!! :y

it does have reliability issues, so be aware if you're buying

Now that sounds like a car I would really like. Bet they didn't do any RH drive tho'. :'( :'( :'(
