My 99 Omega may be different?.
Subscription based service about £30.00 gives road traffic info  via the radio for local major roads - also button on dash shows green when
"no jams" for the next 12 miles - ish. red when probs. Your licence I expect has expired so no info
If you press the button once or twice you can then licence info & renew on the web.

M roads covered and A roads.

Say you join M25 clockwise 10 it will give advanced info for next junctions and any main joining roads

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: Tech 2 Diag Kits

Only works with a interface that cointains the ELM chip. Possibly will do limited checks on the 3.2.
Web site list your engine

I bought it does not work on my 99 V6 as different ECUs use different pins which the ELM does not handle.

So what code reader would I need for a 1995 Omega?

http://www.talktomycar.co.uk/Shop/Code_Readers/Code_Readers.htm
None, a paperclip will do engine.

If you want to do other stuff, a Tech1 (around £500 - £700 secondhand), or a Tech2(really from 97 on, around £2k)

Or Opel Autoscanner about £250 ish
They got that properly working on pre 97 cars?

Menu starts at  1987  Omega A [and others + Senator] only Engine Management - 1990 more modules. 94 Omega B on menu with more options to choose from.

Have not tried it don't have a car to try it on.
