Omega General Help / hedlight problems bi xenon and alternative fix , people's opinions please

Ok so I have the actual xenon d2 h7 combo headlights but a adjuster is broken and the lenses are faded I was gonna just replace them with oem units till I found out there £208 plus vat each , eeek

So I'm debating in going the other route , buy new b2 2000-03 h1/h7 head lights , then just replacing the h1 with a hid unit bulb that should just plug into the oem xenon ballasts , total cost will be about £112

Can anyone see any issues as they still have the head light levellers in n washers for mot , bulbs will be the same just a diff setup kind of so light should be as equivalent if not better Fh

the car on its logbook says ,its a fk11 type (WHAT IS THIS MEANING) and variant 6a11jdach5 im gathering maybe a build code of sorts

chassis number is W0L0VBP6921002269 so i know its not a special as chassis number dont say so but it is a interesting low powerful ride

i looked at the vin plate code post but cant figure much out and have searched for the fk11 and varient number to no avail

new owner here just dropping by to say hi , waves

had various vauxhalls before v6 cavalier opel sport corsa and the missus currently has a new corsa and about to get the latest limited edition next week

car wise complete petrol head was heavily involved in drift cars etc still am to a point as i do a bit scrutineering events etc

currently have a nitrous fed skyline but i cant use it daily as my work car etc as job entails a little bit more refinement

so i was lucky enough to find a nice 2.6i manual b2 elite

i have a few querys about it thou as it has the pro drive lower suspension and a lsd in it or at least it leaves 11's fairly easily it says its a fk11 type and variant 6a11jdach5 what ever that means ??
