As Andy B implies, try another pair of wheels at the back - we know Irmscher Sportstars are soft

Did I?  :-\

I was suggesting to use a dial test indicator on the rear disc  ;)  ;)

Appologies to Andy I'm not sure what he means.

TB if it was the wheel, wouldn't it vibrate at speed...? And all the time? Not just when braking?

I think Jamie was confuddled  ;)  ;)  ;)

It's been there since.... Bit vague.... Iirc wheels and discs fitted. Over a year?

All tyres replaced since.

There was a vibration or balance issue at motorway speeds. But that's done been balanced out.

Spose I better pone a screw driver at hand brake adjusters while I'm there. Poxy things.

I should add I didn't bother investigating further as I was sure it was the used Ebc discs on the front causing it. Didn't expect them to last, but they are wearing well with no rust line.

Changed the front pads last weekend. Old ones where ok ish, but changed them before winter sets in.

...and its early days. But I'd swear the head nodding on the brakes has gone. ::)
