2.5td ('94) Steering Box
« on: 22 May 2007, 14:39:02 »

Hi Folks,
Any tips or advice on short cuts, things to be wary of, estimated time scale etc when changing the steering box on a 1994 2.5td (Auto).
I've finally managed to get a reconditioned box from JayGee Ltd.

 01902-404-258 (ask for Bob)

Top services...Ordered late Thursday afternoon, delivered this morning.

I'll be doing the job myself at my mates garage, so I'll have access to a pit and a 4 post lift and more tools than you can shake a stick at and 2 experienced mechanics on hand, but there's nowt as good as advice from someone that's done the job themselves.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
