.. for popping over tonight and providing advice and moral support while I drilled tank mounting holes in my MV6. :'(

 :y

Should be plain sailing from here when the rest of the LPG bits arrive.

How was the LPG on the way back?

Upped the pressure a little as it was struggling when flat out.

Jeremy was saying that he sets a 5000rpm limit on LPG then it switches over to petrol :-/

The standard preset in the software I believe is 6000 /6500 rpm.

If the LPG is set up right, there's no reason you can't redline it on gas.

I used to give my 2.5 facelift a real spanking all the time on LPG, and I never noticed a drop in performance :y

It was a pleasure Kevin :y

It felt a lot more lively on the way home, don't know if that was a placebo effect but the one time i really did rag it the car still jolted but nowhere near as violently as it did when we were testing.
It was the midrange where it seemed to improve a hell of a lot

I'm going to get it on the laptop tonight and see if it does need recalibrating, and i might have a go at tweaking the gas pressure a bit more to see if that will iron out that jolt

It would be good to get a definitive answer as to what pressure range that system can cope with. I found some specs on the injectors and they are rated at 450kPa - which is 4.5 BAR :o Not sure if that's operating or not though. :-/

Gas pressure does seem to drop a little with engine load, and there's a big  spike in the petrol injector duration when it upshifts from the redline which I suspect the LPG system can't respond to, hence the jolt.

It will be interesting to see how it copes with my 3.2. I note Jeremy's ad states that the Vapouriser is rated at 320 Hp. Didn't ought to be phased by a V6 Omega. :o

Can you remember what gas pressure your 2.5 was running, James? That had 2.5 mm nozzles, IIRC?
