hi all
havent been on for some time but a lot of the 'old boys' are still here that know me
i have for sale a ncdc 2013 with cid these are paired in fact still in car being used but just in case i have car pass as well

comes complete with sat nav disc which i think is 2008 thinking about the £100.00 mark plus postage unless someone wants to collect from york

hi all

long time since ive had to ask a question

but i cant for the life of me remember how to turn down the traffic reports on the 2013

i seem to have misplaced the manual as well

must be an age thing i think

but really needs to be turned down as it makes me jump when it comes on

and one of these days it will be a traffic report about me

but at least i will hear it i suppose

hi all
question about my sons clit, took to a garage because revs were dropping even though foot had constant pressure on accelerator, garage said it was due to the brake pedal switch $:-\$ the way he explained it was that the brake switch sends a signal to the engine managment which then decreases the revs to aid stopping $:-\$ $:-\$ i myself have never heard of this and wondered whether it is indeed the case or the mechanic is talking out of his @rse $:-\$

hi all

decided today to clean my throttle body etc on the 3.2 which i done nice and clean now, put everything back together and went to start car, first thing i noticed was spanner light, so went back under bonnet and rechecked everything i had done, nothing amiss i went back to to start the car position 2 spanner light on and stayed on until started engine then went out

done this a few times and the same thing, pedal tricked it and now have a list of codes

0110
0300
0301
0302
0306
what have i done??? the car is running fine i think even i would notice that many misfires

so have i done something daft

please help

i know its a veccy question but the wealth of knowledge on here

i want to know if a 3.2 vec-c 03 plate has a egr valve ? if so where ? i have looked everywhere and i cant see it, thought it would be as easy as the mig but no such luck

oh a pic (robG) would be nice

i thought that the kumho ku31's was now discontinued but as i have found they are not (just as i have gone and bought ku39's )

all smokers out there what do you think about the new fire safe cigarettes?? i noticed that a pack i bought tasted disgusting and i mean disgusting also they kept going out, i thought that i had bought a snide pack but the next one was the same, it was then i started looking on the net and found out that these fire safe cigarettes are now law, now i know alot of you will jump on the bandwagon and say "give up then" but after 35 years not that easy, i also dont like not being told about this new cigarette upon reading the internet a hell of alot people are actually getting sick smoking this cigarette, people are asking questions about why we were not told and has proper research gone into them.
i know the world population is high and people are living longer but think is an underhanded way to kill off people $:-\$

once again would like to put out a big thanks to elitepete for doing my cambelt and camcover gaskets on the veccy

started out a bit worryingly when opened bonnet and heard pete say "bl--dy hell bit different to the miggy 3.2"

but pete being his professional self dived in and got it all sorted

for a very good price

once again pete has come up trumps and wouldnt hesitate to recommend his services to anyone

Omega General Help / steering column

hi folks

after reading haynes

i have noticed that the steering column has a shearbolt on it, on removing this bolt does it need a new shearbolt or will a normal bolt do torqued to correct Nm

edit-- one more thing does the coloumn have bearings in it or nylon bushes??
