Radio frequency (bose system)
« on: 08 February 2009, 10:05:04 »

I have the bose system in my 98 Elite Pre-face, unsure of which radio to be exact  ;D  Now im not sure if its a problem or just a characteristic of the radio, but when im tuning it in for a radio station it only goes up in odd numbers i.e 105.1,105.3,105.5 etc etc now this is a pain because most of the radio stations round here are 105.2, 103.2, if i use the RDS it cant seem to find them either ?

Is there anyway i can change it so that it goes up in single increments ?

Not error I've seen before.

ccr800 if no phone, or ccrt700 if built in phone.

If you have the radio security code, pull the radio out for an hour.  These units have a habit of getting confused.

Sounds like the radio has the wrong country setting.

This is a Tech2 job to put right.

The radio is tuning up and down in accordance with the USA frequency spec.

Unsure how you would switch it back to UK frequency spec though

Easy, its part of the varient programming via Tech 2  :y

Hence will also be programmed into a byte on the non-volatile internally somewhere
