Did they do a 3.3 litre version of this ? I had a 1964 Velox PB Hydramatic 3.3 in 1972 ,I know the 3.3 was used in the Ventora.

I'd prefer the old Viva GT with the 2 litre engine.

I know they did a Ventora version of the FE model of Victor so would assume this carried the 3.3 six cylinder engine as did previous Ventoras. As far as I'm aware  the 4 part of VX 4/90 refers to number of cylinders, but could be wrong on that.Always fancied the 3.3 Viscount myself.

Yep the Ventoras had the 3.3 six pot and the vx4/90 was a four pot,the very last ones got 5 gears though !!, my dad had FD and FE Ventora's and they were lovely cars although quite lazy considering the cubic capacity

I presume  this refers to the number of pit ponies under the bonnet?

I think it applied to the first of the marque, the later 2.0 and 2.3 had quite as bit more than 90 ponies

I banger raced a very early 2.3 one of these. Got four full meetings out of it. Always fancied a VX4/90 as a road car

My mates dad had one back in the mid 70's. I always remember two things about it. The opulent luxury as you wafted along in auto drive and how much fuel you had to put in the thing every day.

I didn't know till today that they sold them in South Africa with a 5.2l Chrysler V8!!
