miggy cutting out
« on: 24 March 2011, 22:40:50 »

Had a problem with the mig tonight, after a 6-7 mile run came to a set of lights and was there idling in drive and it just stopped, restarted and it stopped again, found that by keeping the revs above 1200 it would stay running.I have just plugged my reader on it and I am showing code 19 as the only fault which incidently this car has always had since I bought it but never given any hint of a problem.
I am thinking that perhaps now is the time to get a new one or does anyone think something else is amiss

A little tip - leave the old one where its, just unplug both ends. Then it can be used if needed as an emergency - as it hasnt completely pack up.
And of course, make sure you rout the new one in the correct way. :y
