The message was in german language which I don t speak, but I understood what was it s purpose. Levelisers are disconected due to failure of el.motor in right headlamp, which I m unsuccesfully trying to find. There was only position light on. Xenon was dead till this morning

Wait for now, I ve spoken with a friend today, mechanic of my omega, he said he ll take it to MOT, it will definitely pass. Have MOT in June, it will do for now, but I would to fix it ASAP. Right after buying new summer tyres this week, new winter tyres, some good ones, we have nice snowy winters here. Could you find out costs of sending it anyway please? And the way to pay you

Searched for some crashed omega with xenon and nothing found :-[ , so I need to ask you something. My leveling mechanism is broken - el.motor is dead. Would leveling mechanism from facelifted omega B fit in? Or at least a el.motor? Couse the price for leveling mechanism at opel service is 165 euros. Sorry I won t be able to answer yuor posts couse I need to to go to work tii 23:00. Thank you

No adjuster on switch. Should be self adjusting, it has those sensors under car in back

If one motor is dead, both will not work, that s what I did find out, so I guess I ll try to find a second hand motor or maybe entire head lamp, just for testing. Have to fid one nicely crashed omega I think  ;D . I ve adjusted beam level manually now, so I m able to see anything at night, at least. Thank you for information about vectra.

And one more thing..... When I fit a new head lamp that works, will it start working properly emidiatelly or will I have to reset that annoying CHECK light on board computer first?

Just about 1000 km away from Poland, Slovenia  ;) . The bulbs are working fine, the problem is that auto leveling isn t working. The motor is dead, so I wanted to know if maybe vectras el.motor would fit in, just to try if electric works properly before buying new head lamp.

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Xenon light problem
« on: 13 March 2011, 11:35:53 »
Hello, my omega's right xenon head light is not working. I disasebled it and found electro motor not only dead but rusty all inside and out. Left head light seems to be ok so I need to change right one. Now what I would like to know is, should I try to change electro motor first, or should I just change the light entirely. And one more thing. There's not a lot of Omegas where I live, does anyone know if Vectra's xenon light motor would fit in, as a spare part. Thank you for answers
