Omega General Help / Coil pack
« on: 25 April 2011, 15:19:31 »
Was there a topic about changing coil pack maybe? I think my omega 2.0i 16v is starting to have an issue with that. Today on highway it just twiched a bit, yust for one valve stroke and warning light came on. Stopped the car and had a cigarette, then start again with no warning light. It happened to me once before, starting engine a bit to fast - key not turn to the end and felt like it was running without one valve. Thanks in advance

Just ignition. I know, because "check" due to self levelling not working appears before starting engine :'(

Hello, I'm fresh omega 2.0i 16v 1998y owner, it was imported from Germany in 2001, so it's an Opel Omega, but it's the same car as Wauxhall omega.  I wanted one since i've first seen it, as a boy 15 years ago, planed to buy one in 2004 but bought bmw 325i instead due to omegas were all in bad shape and to rusty then. Now I have it finally and I like it a lot. Drive is smooth, pulling a bit lazy but nice and strong. After all it's a heavy car. I paid 1000 euros for it, spent 800 on it, now it's as it should be. Mostly all of members are from England, well I'm from Slovenia, that's between Austria and Italy, for those who mix it with Slovakia... ;) There's  not a lot forums about omega, especially not in my part of Europe, so I joined your forum in case of having some problems with omega and to share opinion with someone who drive this cars. In the end I hope you accept my apology for not writing smooth like you. My 'vocabulary' is a bit limited, after all I'm not from England. Thank you
