Towed a car trailer with the Ranger at the weekend.. which went beautifully; stable, plenty of grunt, capable tow vehicle, especially considering what else was in the truck bed at the time  :-X

And it's new home..

Is that an AC Cobra?
We're hoping it will be... one day. ;)

Put air, oil and water in it, as I supposed I'd better turn up to work at some point... ::)

There's no weight in those shells, so you could do a Freddie Flintstone in it.  :y

There's some weight in it right now:

(Although it's really only temporarily in there for transport purposes)

Done nowt to it except drive it and put petrol in...

Having a long talk with meself, but am seriously thinking of stripping and scrapping my Omega... had enough of it, starting to cost too much money now to keep it on the road....

Did the HG's not that long ago and replaced the radiator, and water is still being lost/used..... fed-up with the ruddy thing doing this...

Have had some good cumfy rides in it, nice and powerful enough to surprise a few idiots on the roads... beginning to dislike the thing now... shame really...

Old cars cost money to keep on the road. If you are mechanically proficient and know a lot about the omega, most things can be fixed fairly cheaply and in short order. But you've got to have the time to do it and be willing to give up that time.
If, like me, you just want to get in and drive a car, then the omega is not for you. They can be very frustrating and you have to love them or you'll hate them.

Had windscreen number 3 fitted properly today by an Autofarce master technician, genuine VX trims now correctly fitted and looking proper.took a lot of moaning to their customer services dept and they eventually waived all excess charges, what they don't know is that they are going to get the bill for the trims that I got from VX because Autofarce told me that were unavailable....very nawty, telling me porkies ::)
