Tried a drift, no joy , even put a jack under it but the car just started going up. Heat and even terrible swearing wouldn't budge it either.

Not sure where you could be jacking the door pin if the car was being lifted ......  ??? ???
Both pins come out toward the middle ie the top pin goes down & the bottom pin goes up, I used this
and a big hammer. Try knocking each pin the wrong way to help release it before you use something to pull each pin out.

Thats the one that broke!   Done a few with it but it just sheared on this one.

Andy it's the lower pin that needs to go up, drift under pin, jack under drift as thought weight of car would pop it out, no joy. It's getting cut off today

I'd say there'd be too much of an angle  :-\  :-\  :-\  :-\

If you have a small dremel type cutting disc, you could try cutting the top flare off & then drive the old pin out downwards. You might have a bit more room to swing your hammer between the hinges rather than below the lower hinge.  :-\

I'm with Albs and the Molegrips on this one. The hinge pin has a split down it so the Molegrips pinch the pin together

Managed to get it off eventually with a heat/molegrip/drift/swearing combination!

Sealey removal tools are crap all round!
