Right this old chestnut again :-/
Misfire - solved by dispack change.
Misfire returns 2 weeks later - after a 80mph drive on a motorway that was torrential - this time full breather clean, IACV, new leads, plugs fine....you know the score all usual suspects.
Misfire still there. But not as bad.Been using the misfiring estate to get an idea of cause, gradually its got better though. Seems to be very low revs its worse.
However, sometimes it struggles to start with some 20secnds of cranking and various popping noises from under the bonnet. When it does this you can be sure it hesitates and "misfires" on the outward journey. Crank sensor wouldnt impact once started would it?
This morning though it starts on the button and is silky smooth, no hesitation. Nothing.
So my thougts were that a misfire was a misfire and would pretty much be there. Im starting to think of a fuel problem on this one and move away from plugs, leads, compression, etc... Should add theres no fuel smells, leaks, idle problems or issues over consumption.
Any thoughts people?
