If it was just a single payment then yes, but it was many many payments........most of which were to Cohen with associated invoices.............now if he had kept on side with Cohen  :y
Was it that he wanted a bit of hush money as well  :-\

I would have assumed you would be voting Labour this time.
I will bet my pension that much of their efforts, once elected, will be put into lining us up to rejoin the EU, while all the time strongly denying that they have any intention of ever doing it.
If they get a second term, we will probably be back in. Their major problem will be how to get away with doing it without holding a referendum.
Blair will be pulling Starmers strings from day one. In fact he is almost certainly already pulling them.
The thought dreaded me, but it was potentially on the cards to vote that way to get our current MP out :o.  I mean, I'd potentially even vote for Reform to get her out, useless cow.  Fortunately, not necessary now. Not that any replacement (from any party) will be any more use.

I can't see how we could rejoin the EU as it exists now without a referendum. If such a referendum happened, then the whole thing was a waste of time, as all what would have happened is the UK lost its privileges.  I suspect another referendum would have a different outcome this time around, as even the most blinkered can see we are worse off than we were 5 years go, and we've seen none of the promised benefits. Not even a hint.

Went to Brumingham yesterday.  If that wasn't bad enough, brought back a fatal dose of manflu :(

Maybe the Ruskis, Norks and Chinks have the right idea :P

I was gonna vote just to get the useless current bint Ledsom out.  But as she's stepping down now anyway, that opens all options again...    ...although they are all equally pointless and full of shit.

Pop apart and check if batt connections are broken (where metal bit attaches to PCB).

Photo if not sure.

Omega V6 crank sensors seem to have 2 common failure modes.

1) It just fails to start. And will never start until the sensor is replaced

2) It suddenly cuts out when hot. It will restart once cooled, but will cut out again once its warmed back up

Older V6's would throw a 19 code.

As with many GM's, using a pattern sensor is a lottery that more often and not doesn't end well.

I used to frequent an ex BT van in a similar state ;D
Mine? ;D

When I used to do a real job, my van must have stank of chip shops and pie shops....    ....and the morning after last nights ruby Murray....
I hope they never put you on subs maintenance 😳
I spent about 3 years doing subs mtce before they tried multi skilling us all to cover everything, completely ruining what was a half decent job....    .....so I moved on.

Omega General Help / Re: Steering box leak
« on: 21 May 2024, 16:57:06 »
It's filled with PAS fluid, so can obviously leak.  I'm sure seals could be replaced, but the factory workshop manual would say replace steering box.

Loads of Omega spares about, so shove on a known good one, once you've checked it is coming from the box.

Brembo do some good stuff.  They also do some utter shite.  Guess what you get from the cheap places ;)

Out of curiosity, if you connect the code reader and start the engine and then turn the key back one click so that the engine stops but the ignition is still on, does the code reader read the vehicle then.  :-\
I seem to recall that I had to do this on odd occasions with my 3.2 when using a generic code reader.
Although you say it was working fine previously.  :-\
The keeps the W contact at 12v.
