I got teased over crimbo period that i had 'man flu'.......tho it wasnt i had 6 days off working.....i had a high temp........couldnt take any flu remidies coz im on warfirin......so took my dads advice.......bedroom window shut.......central heating left on......and 2 duvets on my bed.....i sweated liked a pig........for 24 hours.......but got rid of the high temp/flu..........still had a cold for a couple of weeks tho.......but got rid of the flu  ;)

'Dr Nice' off the radio once defined the difference between 'flu & a cold.
If you have a cold & there was a £5- note on the front garden, you'd go outside & get it.
If you have proper 'flu & there was a £20- note on the front garden, you'd leave it there & stay in bed.  ;)  ;)  ;)  :y

..... but they do knock off a the specific torque setting :y

Our ATS's windy guns knock off at f***ing tight. They tightened my wheel nuts up on one occasion, the next day I bent my whel brace trying to undo the buggers. I'd to drive down there & get 'em to slacken them off. Lucky I wasn't on the motorway in the piddling rain! >:(

break 'em. My next car's a Jensen Interceptor, then.  8-)

Kevin

Haven't seen one of them on the road in years & years. About 25 years ago 1 pulled up along side me, at the lights. The lights changed, & as I lifted the clutch of my MK III Cortina, the twin swirl of exhaust was just disappearing into the horizon! :o  :o  :y
As for an FF ..... I don't think I've ever seen one.  :y

I wouldn't so much pick on people's spelling, because they may have dyslexia, etc, which cannot be helped.

It's the lazyness, such as B4 instead of before, and PLZ instead of please, and other such text abbreviations, which wind me up.

They are way to commonly used in all correspondance these days.

When you're selling something wether via eBay or other means then surely you want your advert to stand out for the right reasons. Some ads are so badly set out it makes it difficult to find the information you want, & I would be likely to click ' next'. It's not too difficult to type your advert in Word, use spell check & paste it all to the advert.

You get sea sick if you go too fast down there, it's like the Big Dipper in parts!

I once used a 827 something for a day. Two things most noticably stick in my mind about it.
100' turning circle! :-? (May be 150'  ;D )
The understeer when trying to nip in on a wet roundabout. The car just carried on forwards & totally ignored where the front wheels were pointing.  ::) ::)  ::)

I sincerely hope they're not buckled but i really want a set. Best looking mig wheels in my mind. Can upgrade tyres later. Any decent aftermarket Mig wheels would cost twice that & i don't think much to them anyway.
I'll try 'em out tommorrow afternoon. I admit to being happy & worried at the same time................................................................
....................but i REALLY want a set!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
      Fingers crossed. :-/

But if ever any of the alloys fitted to an Omega will buckle ... these are they!
