General Car Chat / Car failed mot today

I think its time to bin the mig failed on a cracked front chasis leg today  bloke showed me and its bad  I`m thinking of getting a signum 2.0 turbo elite any off you guys know of any bad points on them apart from being fwd

Just fitted some mv6 cloth seats into my ex plod the problem is the seat heater switches light up with sidelights but dont work when turned on (no orange light) but the weird thing is they lit up previous when i had the leather seats but weren`t connected to the seats due to the seats being from a minifacelift does anyone know what fuse does the heated seats

I`m looking for the above double din cage and face plate for my omega ive just bought a double din dvd player but the cage was knackered ive looked on ebay but they all seem expensive any of you guys know were i can get one cheap  also need some type of facia plate as i have a gap around the head unit and it looks butt ugly

Hello this is probually the first of many HELP posts ive just bought an ex plod 3.2 mv6 started to do some tidying up on all the cut wires etc and came across and aerial (normal wing mount type) stuffed up behind the dash !! so i went on the search for the real aerial wire i think ive found it were it joins in the drivers footwell so im presuming plod has cut it off betwean there and the centre console is the joiner a blue block with a grey lead and a small wire if so all i need is the short piece to go to the stereo ive only had the car a day and regreting it allready its drives and look great but the tidying up is going to to a nightmare allready removed loads of the surplus wiring the car should be faster now its lighter  [smiley=cheesy.gif]

Omega General Help / Broken key

Ive broke my key i left it on the inside of boot lid whilst putting her in doors wheelchair in the boot and slammed the lid on the blade  The question is can i just get a new key cut from the spare ive got or is it a stealer job. My spare is just a plain key i`m after the horseshoe one so can use my buttons again

Omega General Help / EML again

a few months ago i changed the crank sensor the light eventually reset itself  but last might whilst driving the light came back on did the pedal trick and got these 2 codes 0150 & 0420 ive looked at the code list and haven`t got a clue what they are and what to check on the car any of you guys got any ideas just to add these 2 codes were stored along with the crank sensor code last time

Omega General Help / temp gauge ?

Just done the crank sensor put it al back together ive just noticed the temp gauge isn`t working ! DOH is it possible that ive knocked it off at the back whilst i was swearing at the c/s wire . Can someone give me a rough idea were it is and what type of connector it is as when i got the old c/s off i noticed it had been changed before but the old one was still there so i cut it off please god someone tell me ive not cut off the plug by accident

Ok I`m going to try and get the car polished up , i`ve got hold of one of them hand buffing machines > Can anyone reccomend a good polish / compound to use the paint is very flat mainly were the police livery was stuck on i used just normal autoglym and elbow grease last year .

Omega General Help / Weird starting problem

Right i`m hoping someone could shed some light on my annoying problem My car will start everytime from cold but if say i stop it when warm say to nip in the shop for a few mins it wont start it just spins over . But if i leave it for say 10 mins it fires up straight away any advice would be nice cheers (BTW its my 3.2 ex plod that is having the problem)
