My 1998 S Registration Vauxhall Omega 2.5 V6 CDX

cost me a bloody fortune on repairs since i`ve had her, regularly serviced every 4000 miles, only done 82000 on the clock, rust appearing all over the place, drives amazing, will still do 120mph but still got problem with Heating, hoping to get that fixed as soon as, and my new Omega buddy on here "Syme" is gonna sell me his HID lamp set and fit em for me in the next few weeks, cant wait to test them babies out   ;D

Drivers door still wont stay open, checkstrap problem! and drivers side rear door trim peeling away, needs replacing >:(

Mines got rust in exactly the same places

They all go in similar places on the older model , ive had 3 now and all been the same ..quite alarming the amount of flakey paint and rust i removed but all surface rust so can be treated and looks pretty tidy once its done ...CHIP FOOSE wouldn't put his name to it  ;D but hey ho needs must  ;)

Ooh really? Champagne gold?

Thinking about it, if you take the old door off and put a new one on, is it complicated?
Or just a couple of bolts?

how about the central locking when the new doors fitted

Great colour and IMHO probably worth getting those little bits of rust sorted as with that mileage and condition is a very nice car. ;)

Get some heating and proper lights and you will be sorted ! :y

Disconnect multi-plug at base of door pillar, unbolt checkstrap, knock out both hinge pins, job done.
Wayne, if retrofiiting HID`s you`ll need the washers

Similar as what mine was , i just rubbed it all down an treated with rust treatment and primed .....will top coat mine when warmer ....Bullet hole rust spots tend to be deeper corrosion so maybe some filler to bring out flush  ;)
