traffic master loom for 2015
« on: 03 September 2009, 08:38:25 »

i have asked this before, both on here and personally asked Jamie. I think the answer was get any face lift radio loom (from ncdc i guess?) and add a couple of wires...?
I have a TM and button just need to connect it all up.

 So question 1
Have i remembered correctly? is that all i need to connect a silver traffic master box to the head unit? Needs an aerial connection also i think?

Question 2
Does anyone have one, thats going to newent, so i can bother Jamie with it yet again  :-[  ;D

Standard 36 Way TM ISO loom but will require the mute and Audio in wiring through (get the required pins from www.nexxia.co.uk).

Aerial connection on the silver ones is a BNC plug with two solid core conductors spread out to make a dipole.

Just look at the connector that the car loom plugs into and see what pins are missing!

There as no missing pins on either the radio or car loom end of the tm loom. Each connecter is full of pins and all pins have wires on them.
