I'm aware that the 'sampling fan' not working can affect the heater:

I've never had a problem with Halfords car batteries.   Probably not the best and probably not the cheapest though...

This seems to be the normal solution to this problem:

Not had it myself though...

It'll slide into a space behind the security panel if you've got the correct head-unit...     :y

I've got the Aotobahnstormers form there, but (stupidly), still haven't sent it off...  Other problem is I won't be able to get to Vauxhall's before they shut tonight...

I'm going to have to call out the RAC to come start it anyway...  Last time I had to do that, they checked the alternator was charging for me too...   :)

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / I think my battery's dead...

Went to go out in the car last night, ignition came on as normal, but nothing when I tried to start the engine...

Looks like I'll have to try and get myself to Halfords tonight    :(

I found it easiest to grab the release bar at either end with thumb and first finger to pull it down, perhaps that's just my skinny large hands though!

Look at this:

You need to get the radio and cage out, then scrape your knuckles and curse as you try to pull on the release bar...

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: LHD and RHD xenon lights

I'm not certain, but on my headlights I have a lever on the back of the headlights that stops the lights pointing to the left for driving abroad, but they only adjust them to point straight ahead...

I should therefore imagine LHD Mig lights will stop lights pointing right to centre, if you see what I mean...

I remember reading somewhere that one of the head-units can accept a aux in.  I can't see the pictures in work, but I think this is the link to the pic of the car with the HK mp3 kit installed to a CCR600.

I've got the pre-facelift satnav system in my car, but no disc so I've never used it.  Are the discs expensive and where could I get one?  I wouldn't mind having a play with it...
Navteq, around £70.

Carin can be a little sluggish with the latest disks.

Thanks, think I'll stick with the TomTom though...
