Breaking '95 Omega Elite - everything £1 or £5
« on: 29 August 2010, 09:14:18 »

I've finally found my "ideal" car ('99 Omega MV6 in Polar Sea Blue, with next to no rust and like new underneath) so I now have a home for all the best bits from my old '95 Elite which has turned to mush underneath.

Engine, gearbox, suspension and interior are all being transferred to the new car, so that probably doesn't leave much that anyone else would want, but you never know - there's always those silly little bits and pieces.

Anything small that's easy to remove, £1

Anything bigger or more difficult to remove, £5

Collection from Alloa, Central Scotland or can post if you cover the cost.

Car needs to go within the next 2 weeks cos SMWBO's doing her nut that I have 3 Omegas in the back yard!

Will get back to you on that... need to check if it'll work on my '99 car but I suspect the plug is different.  If it's no good to me then you're welcome to it.

Oh, and yeah it works - right up to 7.5k RPM.

How about the cable tray that runs along side the engine (not the one in front) with the clip on top its on the dip stick side....Sorry it is a 3.0L you are breaking....Oh and i'm after a plastic clip on bit thats at the back of the engine you should be able to see it. Looks like this as you can see mines broke.

and heres a pic of the cable tray that runs along the plenum.

Will check it's working for ya - jets are missing so I can't remember seeing it work but it may just have been washing the back of the car in front LOL!

Will get back to you once they're off and I can weigh them - can't see there being much in 'em though.
