Cheers.

Actually thinking about it she will never be sold.... Quite possibly the best car ive had.
Had her for 8 years now.
So i guess the mileage doesnt matter that much.
Might do if you need to put an Insurance  claim in or someone aims against you.

Theyre use any excuse to wriggle out of a claim.

Cluster only :y

You can correct the mileage, but have had mixed results :-\

Make a note of the old and new mileages along with the invoice for the new cluster and stick it in the service history if it matters greatly  ;)
Agree with this, Peeps now look at MOT History and Millage when buying Cars now.  :)

Did this a few years back with Lufthansa to HK, think I paid £360 Return then, cheap way to have an Alternative Christmas and New Years.  :)

With some of those destinations, you just have to be careful you don't come back with a dose of the "gift that keeps on giving" .. ;D
You mean like the one my Mate caught a few years back when visited London for a while for work.  ::) ;D

Plus side is theve good some cheap Flights on Offer at the mo with BA if you know where to find them.  ;)

im currently looking at BA Flights to Hong Kong £399 Return in December, wouldnt mind going back there again for a few Days then use HK as a Hub for cheap Local Filghts, ie Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia etc few days in each before returning back to HK for a couple of Nights then returning Home.

« on: 02 August 2019, 15:30:57 »
Ive got 2 Corsa 1.2's, ones a a Van and the other a 3 Door Car, both are Dual Fuel LPG and save me an absolute fortune in Fuel Money.

I would highly recommend them for little cheap run arounds , ok there not the fastest things on the planet but do a good job of MPG, wack them in 5th at 25mph upwards and they will save you fuel.

Plodding in and out of London I get around 37mpg on LPG, thats about the same as around 44 MPG on Petrol litre for litre, but cost wise at 55p a litre for LPG works out the same as buying Petrol or Diesel and getting around 90 mpg (6.5p a Mile). On a Motorway or good run I can squeeze about another 30% out on MPG.

the 1.2 is the one to go for, forget the 1L which is a 3 Pot theres just not enough torque and your end up potentially doing more fuel.

Chain rattle on Start up is fairly normal for a 60K Plus Corsa and nothing to worry about, as for the rest there a cheap fix to keep on the Road.

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: Rear 12v ciggie point
« on: 30 July 2019, 13:51:48 »
am i right in thinking that the rear sockets also have a type of built in fuse to the centre contact ? this would blow if anything heavy wattage was tried in there.
Only if it's a dedicated fuse in the fusebox. Nothing at the socket (or within 3+ft of it)  ;)
It is fused, on a FL it shares the same Fuse as the Climate Panel from memory, so if its blown CP is also off.

BFT or modify a flat screwdriver and apply some leverage with a scaffold bar to shear the lock and then remove as per instructions  :-\

Ok Ive just had 5 lots of BFT (Bacon and Fried Tomatos) now what ?
I was thinking more along the lines of Blunt Force Trauma/Batter Ta Fook, but at the end of a trying shift I must confess that bacon and tomatoes sounds like a good idea  :D
Well Im on my seventh one now and Im raring to go, so just need to get a Flat Screwdriver and do what with a Scafold Pole,     ......... Oh, hang on a Minuite need to suddenly go to the Loo,  :-[

Remove the lock barrel while it's still working, you need to be able to turn it to do so.
A new one is a good idea, which is quick and cheap if you don't mind another key, and a longer wait if you want one that matches your current key. Which is the best option
Ing barrel is still stuck solid, wont turn with the key, hench why I ended up snappinf the switch off Nick. So next task is to remove the barrel somehow with out breaking the alloy housing.

Could try drilling it but dont hold much hope on that one. Any ideas ?
