Omega Gallery / CAMBERS DONE
« on: 08 October 2007, 20:28:23 »
Whilst getting the rims changed over onto the new sport stars, also got the camber done, this cost in total £199, the new pirelli cost £130, so thats £69 for all the rubber change and camber etc done on all four wheels. Therefore, we now have a london based bloke that does geometry, Brockley to be exact in south east london, and has done a few meegas in the past :y, see pics below;

Omega Gallery / Mick Dundees irmscher omega 2.6 CDX V6
« on: 30 September 2006, 21:02:07 »
FOLLOWING vAUXHALL TAKING OMEGAS OUT OF PRODUCTION DECIDED TO BITE THE BULLET AND SPEND SOME CASH, LOVE THE OMEGAS!!! THE ONLY THING I SKIMPED ON IS THE RIMS, NOT IRMSCHER, SPLIT RIMS 18'', NEW ALPINE HEAD UNIT, ALPINE v12 amp in boot, plus kicker 12'' woofer. irmscher 20mm lowered suspension, EBC front discs, red stuff brake pads all round (recent addition), double D irmscher exhaust, interior, omega kick plates, mates, irmscher pedals, gear knob in silver. irmscher door pins. Alpine door speakers front and back doors. Works pending either set of 18'' irmscher sport stars or 20'' evo stars; Have silver aluminium steering wheel, yet to be fitted. interior trim is currently wood, need to change to aluminium/silver still considering options available on interior trims e.g., after market at £200 or proper at 1k, and then theres still the lightened flywheel? :-/

General Car Chat / Wishbones..................
« on: 08 September 2011, 14:01:54 »
.....Need to replace my ones, which came originally from Markjay (past member). I know there has been a lot of discussion about wishbones recently. However, I would prefer to replace with genuine GM ones. The quote I had from the local stealers was £298 each, anyone know whether the genuine GM ones can be sourced cheaper elsewhere?

General Car Chat / CAR INSURANCE................
« on: 11 June 2011, 08:58:20 »
...Had me renewal quote on me doorstep after returning from hols, wait for it £1800.00 :-X, double what I paid last year, fully comp business use and all the bits insured aswell.

Anyway managed to get it down to £887.00 without business use :-X :-X, the existing insurer would not budge on their renewal quote. Should also point out that I have 14 years no claims.

I hate insurance companies >:( >:(
