Post by: Mutha Jugs n Speed on 14 January 2021, 12:34:43
Not a job I've done before, but need to do a couple of the cars. Question.....after changing the bulbs, do the headlight beams need to be reset.?TIA :y

Not if you fit them in the right place ;D

Remove the air filter box to do the OS, and the battery for the NS.

Or pull the headlight.

The rear caps are secured by three torx screws, wjich makes it fiddlier than it needs to be.

As long as you don't move the adjusters, they should be fine ;)

Oh, don't zap yourself on the ballasts.  :D

It's possible to change them without removing anything, but isn't worth the trouble. Or extra time. Or bloodloss

Have you bought the bulbs yet?

Preferred choice is Osram D2S from Hids4U rather than Helfrods etc...  ;)

It been about a year since I changed mine... I used GT ULTRA XENON D2S  I got the two on offer from Powerbulbs.  £26.78p. For the two, they are still working fine and are very bright👍
