Now they've become a chav accessory, I really hate NI number plates.

I dont understand? Whats become a chav accessory?

There's loads of cars running round with "ageless" NI plates as an alternative to personalised plates. Often driven by those persons with the seat reclined as far back as possible, baseball cap on, and a 15 year old in the passenger seat*.

*but that's enough about maths teachers

Sounds like you've had experience with them lol.  ;D

I would worry whether those rear windows have proper tint glass in  :-\ Also not much mention about service stuff  :-\

Tints wouldn't bother me in the slightest as i use to tint windows for a living. Your right about the service stuff, very vague. Probably need to ring to find out. I certainly wouldn't be giving £2000 for it.

It would be against my religion to buy a car with that colour interior. Other then that, its nice  :y
Much nicer than black imo  :y  more of a luxurious look/feel to it... Everything black kinda looks cheap  :-\

I supose everyone has there own taste. I love black leather, handy kept clean too.

K&N ect tend to give you a can of light oil to spray onto the foam of the cone filter.
Its this oil that holds onto the dirt and makes the filter effective.
Problem is, the oil will work its way past the foam and end up on the maf which will in turn knacker it  ;)

The V6's airbox is a sealed unit so no warm air from around the hot engine can get in. It has a feed pipe which draws nice cold air from just infront of the radiator  :y

Experience has found that the OEM Vauxhall filters have more then enough surface area too feed the engine and more bhp :y

At the end of the day, the colder the air the more dence it is so you can get more into the engine  ;)

Cheers for the advice dude  :y. I know the filters and the oil and have been using it down through the years on m3, skyline, evo and other various high performance cars ive owned. Never had any problems with afm's. But i will take your advice and stick with oem  :y  :y

So is the cams the only mod i can do to a 2.6 v6 to get more bhp?

Surely bypassing the oem airbox with a decent aftermarket filter will make a difference?
Its sure will. It will reduce performance. So probably best stick to OE ;)
Why will it reduce performance ?
