As above for the front headlight sensor.

Warning came on a couple of months ago and finally got around to pulling the wheel off. Not only has the sensor been battered to death but the plug and loom has totally disappeared too  ???
This probably came about after some "playing" around Dolby Forrest over Easter time  :-X

I think I have a spare sensor somewhere but definitely need as much of the loom as possible please if anybody can help ?

TIA  :)

Got board last night so found myself looking at A4 Allroads while asking myself the same question.
Very nearly got rid last year but had a change of heart / couldn't imagine myself without it, rebuilt half the LPG system and kept it.
Its getting a bit tatty around the edges but I very rarely do more then 5K a year and (kiss of death here) mechanically it drives spot on and never seems to let me down.
300 odd sheckles a year is a bit of a pisser but in the end, I insured it for another year (195 quid) and life goes on. ;D

I never answer calls on my mobile from numbers not known from the contacts list-if it's important they can send a text message instead.Always let the house phone ring to the answering machine then I can listen to any message they leave on that-if indeed they leave a message.

I go the other way, I try and keep them on the phone for as long as possible. I've even sat there telling them what I am doing with my computer for over 30 minutes, my computer wasn't even on. I play stupid and drag everything out for as long as possible.

Why? Well they could be ringing a relative of mine, a friend etc; The longer I can waste their time, the less time they have to harass people who will fall for this.
years ago an East Yorks window company would plague you trying to sell double glazing . in the end i made an evening appointment for a rep to come, they   stopped calling my number when they found out it was a no sale

Let me guess ...................  East Yorkshire Double Glazing ??

I take it your a good boy like me and always paid the balance in full on time  :y
I think you will find that most companies are trying to get rid of those customers who NEVER pay charges.

I used a Marbles card to help rebuild my credit history after years of been a daft cee you next tuesday with money / bankruptcy.
Started off with 1200 quid limit.
Always paid it off on time so the craft buggers dropped my interest rate and more then doubled my limit.
After a couple of years of no charges, it was dropped down to 500 quid  ::)

Doesn't bother me if i'm honest, It does the job if I need another 50 days to save up and i've got a PayPal credit which gives 4 months interest free if I really have to buy something and need a little longer  :y
With my Marbles card the default for PayPal anyway, as long as I use my brain, I get upto 6 months interest free on everything  :y

His record company and booking agent have dumped him.
I actually liked some of his albums, but never assumed that some of the lyrics reflected him. Seems that they just may have done. However, I do follow the "innocent until proven guilty" belief.

Me to.

Was playing some old Alice Cooper stuff last night .............  The mind boggles

Laptop plugged in
MAF was reading 1.3 @ Idle / 2.5 with revs on.
According to Dream Science ( a highly regarded ford modification place around here) it should have been between 2 and 7 at idle and upto 15 with revs.
Unplugged the MAF and it ran much better.
Lambda was switching okay.

So an new MAF ordered @ 160 sheckles (with a bit of discount)

General Discussion Area / Marilyn Manson
« on: 01 May 2021, 14:20:24 »
Game of Thrones actor Esmé Bianco has sued Marilyn Manson for sexual, physical and emotional abuse.
"Quote"   She claims that in 2009 Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, flew her to Los Angeles to shoot a video for the song, “I want to kill you like they do in the movies.”
Bianco said she was expected to stay at Manson’s home instead of the hotel where she had been booked, and there was no crew, only Manson himself shooting with a phone.
Bianco said that Manson deprived her of food and sleep and gave her alcohol and drugs.
He also locked her in a bedroom, whipped her, gave her electric shocks, tried to force her to have sex with another woman and threatened to enter her room and rape her during the night, the suit alleges.

If true, not very nice of Marilyn but what was she expecting ?
A nice cup of tea and a vanilla slice ??

Oh and this law suit was filled last Friday which is 12 years since the alleged offence happened  ::)
Another one for the 'Me Too' portfolio I think  ::)

Through the front wheels ? What a waste of horses.  ::)

That's what I thought until I had a play in it.
I've been sat in some fast cars over the years but I have only ever once been pushed into the drivers seat while hanging onto the steering wheel before and that was in a 300bhp DAX Rush  :o
As for going around corners, it just does ..............  at stupid speeds too  :o
Apparently it has some sort of trick diff (but don't ask me what it is) which basically just does as it says on the tin  :y
Very impressed imho

Shame about the 12 mpg around town  :-X

A little bit of info for you all before I have a look at the machine over the weekend.

It would seem that it did indeed start out as a standard ST.  :-[
All conversion work was carried out by Collins Motorsport, paid for by the previous owner from the Leeds / Bradford area.
This gentleman has very sadly passed away and the vehicle was sold onto my boss last year.
He has a rolling road print out showing 348 bhp.

Maf looks ok but wouldn’t hurt to pull it and clean if needed, could also be worth checking fuel filter

Can the MAF be cleaned safely ?

Funny enough, the plonker did run out of fuel a month ago.
He claims he has had the fuel filter changed since but .............

les mckeown , Bay city roller , gone at 65  :(
Yes, I my sister used to have a picture of him on her bedroom wall.

I seem to recall he ran over a girl in his Ford Mustang, at some point in the seventies.

He has certainly left a lot of wet teenage pussy behind. :)

I remember that incident well back home in Scotland . IIRC It was a 308 Boss Ford Mustang and he literally ran over an elderly woman on the Costorphine Road and killed her  . He had been warned prior to that by the Police about his driving and after being questioned he quickly  left Edinburgh to go back on tour showing little or no remorse for what had occured. He was convicted of the lesser charge of reckless driving although had been charged with dangerous driving . There was quite a lot of bad feeling about it in Scotland .

Did he go to prison?

Pretty sure he just got a fine. Reputation of a class 1 d1ckhead. The manager Tam Paton was a very nasty piece of work indeed.
Went into producing low budget gay porn once the BCR bubble burst.
Was then convicted of molesting young boys.
It was never going to last long as I've seen more talent in a dead snail.

Got the missus a couple of tickets to see him locally a few years ago.
Her mate dropped out at the last minute so I played the good husband and accompanied he to the gig  :-[
250 screaming 50 or 60 something woman all hot and sweaty draped in friggin tartan throwing underwear on stage while 3 or 4 blokes in the crowd just looked at each other with resigned knowing looks  ::) ;D
To be fair, it wasn't a bad night until Les and the band walked into the pub after the show.
Les wore a long raincoat and you could just imagine what the inside of it would be like  .............  One side with pictures of himself and the other side with sweets and puppies  :-X
Talk about fly's around shite .............
I can honestly say i've never met a more slimy fc*ker in my life.
Needless to say, the wife did get a picture taken with him  ::)
