Had One Never Drive Another

I've owned 2 Honda engined cars, and both have been cracking engines for what they are, albeit desperately uneconomical.  Obviously I ragged the tits off them.  Both broke down, but virtually every car I've had has left me stranded at the side of the road at some point.

Not sure I'm old enough yet to actually own a Honda badged car, last time I checked I don't leak wee ;D
;D ;D  Not quite there yet but its great for my bad back  ;D

Hope it serves you well :y

Cheers Jaimie, I wont forget the last 15 or 20 years of Omega ownership and the help i've had on here. Absolutely priceless advice from yourself, Mark, Daz, Chris (when he was still on here) Al and god know how many other members who have helped me out over years  :)

Nice, looks tidy.  :y  My brother-in-law has one, he finds it easier to get in and out of due to the higher platform.

True dat  :y
Came home from work last night and normally the curb is higher then the car floor so can be hard work heaving my semi broken body out  ::)
Last night, just opened the door and stepped out  :y

A fetching shade of Dogknobred :D Most are black or silver, so you'll not lose it in the car park :y

Yeah that will help  :y
Fancied a solid colour for a change.
Much easier to touch up or polish out those little scratches

General Car Chat / Re: Who got a mig for sale ?
« on: 27 February 2022, 18:37:00 »
I know of two 3.2 specials, both ex Met, being sold by our old mucker Simon.

One is silver, ex marked and with a few bits left in like a big red STOP button (no idea what for). The other is an ex unmarked green estate auto...

Might pop in and see him next time I'm delivering in Poole,,, nxet to his place.. Do I really want another one.

This omega disease has done some damage to us noofers  :( Only cure is  :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

Mine will be up for sale in a couple of months.
Got a bit of work to do on it first then some tarting it up  :y
IF you can live with a 3.2 LPG'ed estate with a manual conversion.

The Autel Maxiscan tablets seems to be pretty well received. At a price. ;)

Looking for something similar to the one that was touted on here a many years ago before official type persons in offices spat there dummy out and got nasty with admin.  :-X
Ideally something both myself and Mini Me can stick on our laptops / Tablets  :-\

Why is the dog constantly barking?

I suspect that the issue is with the people rather than the dog ???

If our Tibetan Terrorist is anything to go by, she goes garity at the milkman. Not the one at 2am in a diesel Transit, but the one at 4.30pm in the traditional milk float. Go figure  ::)

I'm no dog expert but my wife has owned and trained them in the past . The collie is left unattended all day so it's logical to believe that it is in effect guarding it's territory from all that comes close to it . It seems to be an unloved dog that was taken in as a rescue animal but not treated as a pet as we know it . The approach to pet ownership in Ireland differs considerably from UK as we have witnessed many times in the past .
We have never threatened , shouted at or abused the dog but the fact that it growls and bares it's teeth at me when it sees me at the fence is enough to persuade me that it doesn't really want to be my buddy ..

What sort of dog is it ?
if a dog bares its teeth at you then its more frightened of you or what it thinks you are going to do then anything else.
I can understand your feelings mate but targeting the dog is wrong.
Sort the cause out not the symptom.
;D ;D

nobhead  :P  ::) ;D
Oi! I represent that remark.  ;D

Good man  :y ;D
