And I'm not sure you'll want Win11, as its still not clear, in MS's attempt to copy Apple, if you will be able to install apps outside of the Microsoft Store. If that is the case, we're all screwed.

I'll run my old software air gapped if that's the case , like i have too anyway with some win XP stuff 
and install Ubuntu 20.04.2.0 LTS (Focal Fossa) with the Twister UI windows look a like skins  to look at tits and read emails on T'internet

Quite an impressive presentation so far ,though there is some really cringe worthy content
not said how much it's going to cost ,if anything 
also "on any device"  well no , any device that meets the minimum requirements 
though  the TPM 2 and UEFI requirements are an easy work around*

*but not having TPM 2 may leave the device venerable to attack , so I get why MS wanted to make it a requirement

According to Dell (I have 3) non of the models I own will be compatible with Win 11.

Microsoft will release Windows 11 at the end of 2021 they announced yesterday
some Ebay sellers already have laptops with windows 11 on for sale

I've downloaded the twister add on skins that make it look like various versions of windows 
but like 99% of people , I've been using windows for 30 years 
so I've got  Stockholm syndrome  
maybe i'm entitled to compensation
