Shoreham Air Show.
« on: 20 December 2022, 19:50:24 »

Just reading that the coroner has found that the eleven who died when the Hawker Hunter crashed, were unlawfully killed. As the pilot has already been cleared of manslaughter, how does that sit regarding the law? Can he be tried again or on a different charge? Odd one this.

Just caught the end of this on our local news, don't think that he's even had the decency to apologise to the affected families total piece of shit, I think that's probably the end of it seems very wrong but as the saying goes " The law is an ass".

Living a million miles from the Solent means this is all I've heard about for the past few years on the "local" news.

To the point I'm now at the "who cares?"

He deserves a civil suit for each victim.

There wasn't much wrong with the aircraft other than the person flying it, but apparently he remembers 'nothing' of the event.

You'd have thought that all the footage might have jogged his memory.  :-X

Is he still claiming that he doesn't remember the incident ?
Still find it hard to believe that some people in the aviation industry still insist of defending this W anker.
Arrogance beyond belief in my humble opinion  >:(

It was certainly his 'defence' during the AAIB process.

Just reading of a moron in Wiltshire who randomly turned round to follow a guy on a motor scooter, rear ended him and he died at the scene. He's pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.  ::)  That seems to be the way now, just play the 'mental health' card.  >:(

A coroners verdict has virtually no legal meaning. Regardless of what 'we' may all think, he was found not guilty of manslaughter, so there ain't much that can be done now. Of course the affected could bring civil cases, but it'll be the insurance companies that have to pay out (if anyone has to pay out). People cn go on forever trying to obtain 'justice' but there comes a point where it's pointless.
