Popped 4 reconditioned injectors into the CR-V
Now starts instantly and it much MUCH smoother to drive.
Getting the injectors coded into the ECU on Friday so should be much better on fuel.

Now got to look into this rumbling noise / clutch slipping business  :'(

Buy a Honda CR-V they said .......
Lovely and reliable they said .......
You won't regret it they said ......

Hondas are reliable, and scheduled maintenance is well thought out and affordable just like most other Japanese cars. But if you manage to break one.....

It could be worse, you might have been daft enough to buy a Mitsubishi ;D

Broke the Omega last year and had to move quick.
Lads got a Mk8 Civic with the same donk in it and other then the stupidly sensitive steering, I actually like the car.
Me and the missus are not getting any younger and i've got to admit its bloody comfy and I love stepping into / out of the thing but look at the omega sat there everyday and ask myself the question .......  then the wife cracks my across the head  :-[ ;D
Bought it from a dealer at the time these things where going up in price by 100 quid a week  (first time ever) and got my pants pulled down  :'(
It was supposed to be fully stamped up but the more I look into it, somebody had been playing with the stamp and ink  >:(
Just my luck the past few years  ::)

Not usually  the most exciting things to drive, but the build quality is miles ahead of any European stuff.  ;)

Initial potentially yes (although the Japs tend to steer away from the latest tech and settle on the safer bet, proven, last gen, which is what keeps the quality a bit higher) but, after about ten years this drops off a cliff and then they can get very problematic.

Took two of the Omegas for MOT's (the 2.6 and the 3.2 saloon) - both passed with no advisories :y They got a few complimentary comments as well from other admiring customers - happy days!

Tell me about it
Mechanically its seems very well thought out and put together but little things like nuts that are made of shite steel corrode and round off with a hard stare.
Makes what should be a easyish job a ball ache.
And the parts ain't cheap either  :'(
