The green light does not give you carte blanche to drive on, it is "permission" to procede with care ...

She did not take care because she was speeding and texting.

You are not allowed to mow down others simply because THEY break the law.

Deserves everything she gets.

Just had another look ( looking for the "join" !!  :) ) and another oddity ...

Xenon type headlamp washers on non projector lights ?? and the light/wing area looks wrong..possibly original wings ??

so bumper/headlight/headlight surrounds/bonnet all replaced from a scrappy ??

Thats a weird mix .... "cut & paste shunt " job ??

zippo .. internal pictures give it away as facelift .. :)

DAF variomatic drive....

'Forwards for forwards, back for back.  Its as simple as that' as per original TV advert....

Was that the one that relied on rubber bands for transmission?

Yup .. :)

Sounds like a plan for the Newent meet. If it's anti PC then I'm all for it.  :y
It might involve exercise . . .  ::) ;D

Those with 3 pedals might get more exercise than normal folks ....  :)

My local centre of the Caravan Club ran one a couple of years back, great fun ... but the chelsea tractor drivers all complained about the amount of fuel used and that they couldn't park anywhere to check the clues :(

So they stopped running them .. :(

There are numerous small generators available for less than £100 that would probably do what you want, and at that price is it worth the hassle of building a bespoke system ??

http://www.screwfix.com/prods/89480/Power-Tools/Generators/Sumo-2-Stroke-Generator-650W;jsessionid=KLBPMWL0XPIDECSTHZPCFFQ

or

and I'm sure you'll find loads of others if you google ...

« on: 02 February 2008, 23:24:10 »
The ciggy bit is easily replaced as the voltage change is done in the plug.

Just make sure you get the pins the right way round !!

Make one ??  Male ciggies on sale in most accesory shops, and a standard 3 pin plug in any supermarket these days ??

cost you pennies to do

HOWEVER TAKE CARE !!!

Are you CERTAIN the input to the device is mains voltage ?? Many of these things have voltage regulators/transformers built into the plugs so you MUST ensure you input the correct voltage or you risk fire and/or electric shock !!!
