Finally got fed up with the headlights looking so bad, I've polished them so many times decided to buy a set of Depo replacements at a fraction of the dealers price don't know how long the will last but they look good and work well

Omega General Help / air con cooling fans

Hi I wonder if anybody can shed some light on my current problem with one of the air con cooling fans at the front, only one is working the right hand one does not come on ever there appears to be no power to the fan the fan does actually work when direct power is applied could it be a fuse or a relay. I'm don't know which fuses/relays it could as I'm rubbish at car electrics thanks

General Car Chat / Carpet Clips

Would anybody on OOf have any omega carpet clips/fasteners lying idle as I went to the stealers today to see if they had any. I was told they only come in bags of ten at a cost of £40 which to be honest is a touch much I only wanted 6 but if they sold them separately it would still cost £24 which is still more than I am prepared to pay. I know its probably a long shot but any help would be appreciated

Omega General Help / cooling fans

Hi guys
just a question. Today I noticed that the the left hand fan (as you look at the front of the car) seems to be permanently on is this right as I have never noticed it before it came on as soon as I started the car, everything seems to be running ok no overheating no warning lights on. Is something horrible about to happen or am I just being a worryguts

Can anybody tell me how hard/easy it is to retro fit headlight washers. I have obtained a bumper off a FL Elite with washers I am fitting it to a FL CD what will I need to complete this job. Cheers

Omega General Help / Water in the rear passenger footwell

Hi all
I know this is probably an old chestnut but I am having a problem with water in the rear passenger side footwell in my facelift 2.6 cd. I had this problem on a previous prefacelift mig which was sorted by cleaning out the drain at the front (very difficult on this car due to the pollen filter can't get my hand anywhere near the bottom)  and the problem was solved, I have done this twice on this car and thought I'd sorted it, but apparently not as I noticed today I have water in the back again I've checked the drain and it is clear the only thing I did notice is that unlike my previous preface miggy this one does not seem to have a drain at the bottom it has a solid bung, water appears to drain via a hole that cables exit at the front of the drain is this correct. I can only assume that during a recent long lasting torrential downpour the drain filled up allowing water to get into the car. Any ideas as its really starting to wind me up  its a real pain in the bum drying it all out. cheers

Has anyboby fitted a Clarion DUZ388RMP 2 Din head unit into a facelift miggy if so how hard or easy was it. I saw it in a post some while ago DaveDND recomended it as one of the best I just want to know basically will it fit cheers :-?
