Picky picky :o the number plates where bought from a recognised supplier and have been on the car for five years. The headlight washers came about by accident I hit something on the M5 motorway and broke the front bumper I went onto Ebay and all bumpers were silly money except one, an elite bumper for an acceptable £30 so i bought it then thanks to Abbs I got the correct washer bottle and pipes so it all works. The wheels another Ebay find alone with the Prodrive rear spoiler it looks like an Elite from the outside just don't look inside ::)

well done you lot I hadn't spotted that. they were listed on ebay as fitting a 2001 Omega not realising that they are pfl I fitted them with no problem except I had to use the original rubber I have just checked ebay again and guess what they have changed the item compatibility saying will not fit 2001 model.
you can buy fl models on ebay for £55

Finally got fed up with the headlights looking so bad, I've polished them so many times decided to buy a set of Depo replacements at a fraction of the dealers price don't know how long the will last but they look good and work well

« on: 01 August 2013, 17:00:40 »
Hi I wonder if anybody can shed some light on my current problem with one of the air con cooling fans at the front, only one is working the right hand one does not come on ever there appears to be no power to the fan the fan does actually work when direct power is applied could it be a fuse or a relay. I'm don't know which fuses/relays it could as I'm rubbish at car electrics :o thanks

I like all your ideas Lizzie. :y If you are legal you won't have a problem, that way the vast majority of people would be legal, there will unfortunately always be people who will find a way around any kind of rules and regulations. The only serious issue I can see is the increase in fuel thefts from cars.

vote for Lizzie :y. at least if RFL was scrapped in favour Pay as you drive everyone would pay including all the skankers who don't pay at the moment so we probably would not need such a large hyke in prices at the pump with everybody paying:y
While on the subject of skankers perhaps when your in power Lizzie can you introduce a life time ban for people who don't insure their cars  >:(
