Whatever, it wasn’t too pleasant.
The drivers (well, one of the drivers) in front of me who were travelling at 60mph but decided to come to a complete standstill because an Ambulance on blues and twos was approaching from behind. With heavy traffic coming from the opposite direction, the Ambulance was stuck. Well, until a driver coming from the opposite direction had the foresight to give them space to continue.
Why don’t drivers just keep moving and allow the emergency vehicle to pass when it’s safe to do so. At least that way, the emergency vehicle is still making progress, and my blood pressure wouldn’t rise due to screaming at the driver who stopped.
I honestly think that they should run adverts to publicise this more, as some drivers just panic.
I was assured by the polishing brigade - the jag forum mob - painting them red would give me 300 more horsepower and would allow me to outbrake Schumacher's F1 car....
Or do the main dealer do that now? 
That just goes to show how corrupt the lefties are that we're expected to just suck it up whenever they try to pull a fast one.

Planet killing soot chucker's should meet the same end as the dinosaur.Nothing used to hear me up more when I was in the Battlebus - before DTM fixed it - of lifting then flooring the throttle, covering the car following too close behind in a cloud of soot.

Yup, XE uses Teves/ATE brakes, and are 7mm at rear and 11mm at front. Worth ensuring you have both, and I'm staggered you haven't had to change the pads at the front yetI've hundreds of them .... tiny 1.5mm up to 19mm & probably bigger. But as above, no 7mm or 11mm (did actaully have a 7 but it wouldn't fit in)
Same when I got the XE. One end needs a 7mm long hex key and I think that's an 11mm at the other end. Probably the same manufacturer of calipers. Fancy picking the two sizes that nobody will have in their toolbox.
Additionally, when you do, the wear sensors are stupid money from JLR - something like £25 a pop last time I bothered checking. If you're not in a hurry, they are around £2 each from Ching Chong land, which makes it almost worthwhile replacing them rather than pissing around trying to short them.
