Fitting carpets after drying out (scuttle flood)  small section about 4 inches wide under the seat electrics under the plastic cover has felt one side and rubber the other which way around should this be, I removed the cover on the drivers side to check but there was no similar section present.

My car has been standing outside unused for about 4 months. I  have run the engine approx once a week.I now have mould appearing on various surfaces very bad on seat belts for some reason and on the passenger seat cloth.Any ideas on the best and safest way to get rid of this?

It is only about 3000 miles ago that I repaired the wire between body and boot lid this time I have 2 broken wires.Is there a permanent fix for this problem?

My reversing lights do not work Checked bulbs and fuse all ok.I suspect the switch which I believe is on the gear box or a broken wire in the boot corner,Any idea of wire colour for this,

After sitting in this hot weather for a few days the car turned over very slowly and then built up to normal could this be vapourisation in the pipe work. Once started it has been ok.

Omega General Help / Drivers lock saga

I am having problems with the drivers lock in that when I unlock with the remote the button stays down all others are ok.I lift the button manually and then it will operate perfectly several times with no problem.I leave the car some time and once again the button stays down. I have tried to lubricate via the latch, one bolt removed but no better.Any ideas.

What is thought to be the best lubricating spray for door lock mechanisms.My replacement front lock,used, seems to be sticking. I sprayed it with PTFE spray before fitting.

Having put a new second hand lock drivers side front in a little while ago I have problems again. When I first fitted the lock when I unlocked the door with the remote the lock opened and immediately shut after a few tries it cured itself. Now it is happening again and I have to unlock with the key this time after several tries  with the remote it continues to lock itself Any ideas

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / wiring at boot hinge

This is a known area for wire breakage after continual flexing mine has failed twice , soldered joints are too rigid and soon fail.Is it best to insert a long length of wire so that the joint is away from the hinge or has someone found a better cure.

Ordered a new barrel yesterday as mine was sticky today key wont turn.What do I do now. Drill out the barrel if so how deep? I now have a jammed drivers lock and a jammed ignition barrel. Any body want an Omega
