Spent an hour picking off the glue from the tailgate, and cleaning with cellulose thinners after most of the letters had decided to fall off (VAUXHALLOMEGA2.5V6). Glue with a 23 year lifespan did well.... now debadged.

Got the welder out today to try and fix the rust in the bottom of the Omega spare wheel well. Been putting this off for months/years but after a vigorous attack with a screwdriver the bottom just fell out. Hey Ho. >:(

That nice Mr DTM fella fixed mine.  I was going to say recently, but I haven't owned the car for 6 years, and was probably a couple of years before that.

I must be getting old  ;D

Dropped the Mondeo into my local ATS for a service, while I had a wander round and then drank coffee in Costa.  :y

Noticed a couple of new 'Turkish' barber shops have opened since I was last there.  ::)

Taking the Jaguar to Swansea in the morning to have the LPG looked at and hopefully fixed, the car is stalling at junctions occasionally and it can be quite hair raising (if I had any🤫).

You've got to hang on for a few years until the new pooch has karked it now.  :)

TBE used to do that.  CBA to replace the shagged injectors and the hassle of remapping, so I set it to switch back to petrol at idle ;D
