Omega General Help / Where can I get Oil Sump?

hi,
Can anyone help. I bought my omega 2.5td (bmw engine) in August. I recently destroyed the oil sump, my mechanic told me it had been badly damaged before and some sort of repair had been made to it, but since I damaged it, it can not be repaired. I have been told unless from a scrap yard then the oil sump is a main dealer part, so I phoned the main dealer and they want £363+VAT! I have looked on ebay, and emailed a few people there, but does anyone know where I can get hold of an oil sump?

Hi,
New here so Hi, and hope I am posting in right place. I bought 2 weeks ago an R reg Omega CD 2.5 TD Automatic, with the BMW Engine. It broke down about 2 days ago, and turned out it was a fuel fault. RAC told me the sensors will sometimes not work when the fuel gets low. Put diesel in and it worked. I have now noticed when idle the car "shakes" until the revs are higher. I am thinking that some crap from fuel tank is in the system causing this. I was anyway going to chane the fuel filter and chnage the oil and filter. I was going to get a Haynes Manual, but they do not have one for this model of the Omega. Can anyone help with either suggestions of the problem, and also how to change the fuel filter and oil and filter? Is there another manual like haynes?

Hi, I am after an oil sump as I smashed mine on a dip in the road, apparently it had a really dodgy repair from previous owner and I have now destroyed it. I have a 2.5td(bmw engine) I assume it would fit my car if the engines are the same?
