The idiot who designed the PSA/Ford 3l V6 diesel used in French shit, American shit and Indian shit.  And then the idiot who signed off fitting said engine in said Indian shit.
Nobody made you buy it >:D
I think the engine itself is pretty sound, it's the bolt ons that are shite.

The only cars that engine is actually any good in are the PSA ones.

No, I mentioned the bolt ons for the engine. I.e. fannymolds, alternators, etc  ::)

The chassis is actually quite good.  Leagues ahead of the recent S-Classes that big bro used to have. Leagues ahead ;)

But the engine has too many vital plastic bits on it. Many of which that are unnecessarily stupidly designed and poorly built, and then some (like the valve covers) that are just badly made (which even JLR admit to).  Shame, as its otherwise a decent engine with brilliant power delivery, and goes like a scalded cat, yet can easily return 40+ MPG over a 600 mile tank if you are a good boy.

No idea.Only options I think he ticked were the seats, as standard S Class seats are Ford `focus type crap.  But they were > £95k variants.

I find that difficult to believe for diseasal :-\ my S500 was about £80k with a few choice options. Nearer £60k for the V6 CDI...

The poshest seats heated/ventilated, dynamic, comfort headrests and posh leather adds up to just under £6k.

Dunno, but bro wasn't a BS'er.  I suspect the lease co listed at full retail price.  And I remember his last that was off the road for months due to Merc not being able to fix a fault, he was livid at paying for a £100k car every month, but driving around in the utterly shite C Class Merc UK gave him as a temp car.

I should be pissed off with Evri, but what they have managed to do is so ridiculous that I can only laugh at the stupidity of it.

My steering wheel came from Latvia. Package had my name and address clearly attached to it along with the sender attached Evri label, also with my name and address. No complaints as it arrived in three days and not the suggested three weeks.

However, they delivered another package with it... Clearly addressed to a company near Frankfurt, but the same Evri label as my package including bar code, consignment number and my name and address.

Whilst the sender clearly screwed up and printed my label twice, at no point in the Evri system did anything think to mention/notice that a parcel clearly addressed to Germany was out of place arriving in the UK. Right down to the person delivering it.

Had I accepted the parcel, it would have gone back with the driver, but Mum didn't notice it either.

Took it down to the local shop for local people, aka the Evri collection point. Can't accept that because the barcode says no. I get that the system is retarded by surely the driver can return it to the depot for them to redirect using the sender's account? Nope, they won't accept it because it's not in the system.

Obviously I emailed the sender on Friday asking them to send me the correct label in order to be sent on to Germany, but nothing yet :-X

My options are to wait for someone to realise or to take it to the depot in Crawley and get them to redirect it in the system and provide a new label.

Hardly rocket science, but really... ???
